Being over 18 does not make participation in an online money game lawful. Gambling can cause serious financial and psychological harm, and no betting result or withdrawal outcome is guaranteed.

Important India legal notice: India’s Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits online money games, including games involving deposits or stakes made in money or virtual digital assets. The associated 2026 Rules came into force on 1 May 2026. The framework also prohibits advertising, promotion and payment facilitation connected with prohibited online money games. This guide is therefore limited to troubleshooting an existing transaction, preserving evidence and contacting official support. It is not an invitation to open an account, deposit again or continue gambling. Answer: What to Do When a Stake Withdrawal Has Not Arrived

When a Stake withdrawal is not received, do not submit another withdrawal, deposit more money or send funds to someone claiming they can release the payment.

Start with these five checks:

  1. Open your withdrawal history and record the exact status displayed.
  2. Confirm whether Stake has supplied a bank reference, UTR, transaction hash or TXID.
  3. Check your email, account notifications and verification section for a KYC or security request.
  4. For a bank withdrawal, confirm the destination details and ask your bank to trace the reference.
  5. For a cryptocurrency withdrawal, inspect the TXID on the correct blockchain explorer and compare the network and destination address.

The location of the delay normally falls into one of four areas:

Where the withdrawal may be stuckTypical evidenceFirst action
Inside the Stake accountPending review, verification request or withdrawal restrictionComplete legitimate account checks and contact official support
At the payment providerPending or processing status without a bank referenceAllow the stated processing window, then request the provider reference
Inside the banking systemUTR or bank reference exists, but no credit appearsAsk the receiving bank to trace the reference
On a blockchain or at an exchangeTXID exists, but the balance has not appearedCheck confirmations, network, address and exchange deposit status

Do not rely on a screenshot alone. A screenshot shows what appeared on your screen; a UTR, payment reference or TXID gives the bank, processor or blockchain data needed to trace the transaction.

First: Do Not Make the Problem More Complicated

A delayed cashout is stressful, particularly when the withdrawal represents money needed for rent, debt, food, medical costs or another essential expense. That stress can lead to decisions that make the situation worse.

Until the transaction is resolved:

  • Do not make another deposit to “unlock” the withdrawal.
  • Do not place more bets to satisfy a demand made by an unknown support agent.
  • Do not pay a release fee to a person contacting you through Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram or another unofficial channel.
  • Do not disclose your password, two-factor authentication code, recovery code, private key or wallet seed phrase.
  • Do not create multiple support tickets every few minutes.
  • Do not edit screenshots or hide relevant transaction details.
  • Do not attempt to bypass an account restriction with another account, VPN or another person’s identity.
  • Do not send a second crypto transaction to test an address unless you independently control it and understand the risks.

A genuine payment investigation depends on a clean sequence of evidence. Additional deposits, duplicate withdrawal requests and conflicting support messages can make that sequence harder to understand.

Stake’s terms state that only one account per player is permitted and that identity, payment ownership and compliance checks may be required before a withdrawal is released. The terms also allow the operator to investigate activity and delay or decline transactions while an investigation is underway. Step 1: Record the Withdrawal Exactly as It Appears

Before contacting anyone, create a permanent record of the transaction.

Write down:

  • Withdrawal date
  • Withdrawal time and timezone
  • Amount requested
  • Currency or cryptocurrency
  • Destination bank account, UPI ID or wallet address
  • Selected blockchain network
  • Status displayed
  • Withdrawal ID
  • Payment reference or UTR
  • Transaction hash or TXID
  • Any fee deducted
  • Account email or username
  • Date and time of every support contact

Take a screenshot showing the transaction status, but avoid exposing full account numbers, private information or security credentials in anything you post publicly.

If possible, also save the page as a PDF or make a screen recording that begins inside your account and opens the transaction details. This provides more context than a cropped screenshot.

Why the exact timestamp matters

Support teams may review thousands of transactions. A statement such as “my withdrawal yesterday did not arrive” is difficult to investigate. A statement such as “₹25,000 requested at 14:42 IST on 29 July 2026, withdrawal ID ending 4817” gives the investigator a specific record to locate.

The timezone is important because the payment processor, Stake and your bank may log the same transaction under different calendar dates.

Step 2: Check the Status Without Assuming What It Means

Withdrawal status labels can vary by payment method and may change as a request moves between the platform, a payment provider and the receiving institution. Treat the status as a clue rather than final proof.

Pending

A pending label can indicate that the request has entered a processing queue, is being handled by a payment provider or requires an internal check. Stake’s bank-transfer guidance states that a pending bank withdrawal is being processed by the payment provider. Its crypto guidance also notes that larger withdrawals can require manual processing and may be held temporarily. – Whether an identity document has been requested

  • Whether your email is verified
  • Whether a security confirmation is waiting
  • Whether the withdrawal requires 2FA, email or OAuth approval
  • Whether a previous withdrawal is still open
  • Whether your account has a wagering requirement
  • Whether the withdrawal method matches the deposit method
  • Whether support has sent a message to your registered email

Processing

Processing normally suggests that the request has advanced beyond initial submission but has not reached its final destination. Depending on the method, it may still be inside an internal review, payment-provider queue or broadcast process.

Do not interpret “processing” as proof that a bank transfer has entered the Indian banking network. Ask for the payment reference. If no UTR or traceable bank reference exists, the transfer may not yet be available for your bank to investigate.

Completed or sent

A completed label may indicate that Stake or its payment provider considers its part of the instruction complete. It does not always mean the receiving bank, wallet or exchange has credited the balance.

For a bank transaction, the important evidence is the bank reference or UTR.

For a crypto transaction, the important evidence is the TXID and its status on the relevant blockchain.

Rejected, cancelled, failed or reversed

If the withdrawal was rejected or reversed:

  1. Check whether the amount returned to the playable or withdrawable balance.
  2. Record the rejection reason.
  3. Confirm that no withdrawal fee was retained.
  4. Review the destination details before doing anything else.
  5. Ask support whether the withdrawal can be retried without additional wagering.

Do not immediately resubmit the same request repeatedly. A repeated destination error or unresolved verification issue may lead to another rejection.

Step 3: Check for an Account-Side Hold

If the withdrawal remains pending inside the account and no bank reference or TXID has been generated, begin with account-side checks.

Identity verification or KYC review

Stake’s terms allow the operator to request KYC documentation and restrict payments or withdrawals until it considers the player’s identity and location sufficiently established. Its AML statement also describes ongoing monitoring, risk-based withdrawal thresholds and crypto-address screening. awal can trigger a new review even when an account has previously completed some verification. Possible requests include:

  • Government-issued identification
  • A live selfie or liveness check
  • Proof of address
  • Bank statement
  • Proof that the receiving account belongs to you
  • Source-of-funds information
  • Source-of-wealth information
  • Explanation of account activity
  • Confirmation of the crypto wallet you control

Submit documents only through the official account interface or another channel confirmed through Stake’s official website. Do not send identity documents to someone who contacted you first on social media.

Documents should be:

  • Current and unexpired
  • Fully visible
  • Unedited
  • Clear enough to read
  • Consistent with the details registered on the account
  • Uploaded in an accepted format
  • Free from reflections or cropped edges

A document can be genuine and still fail an automated check if the image is blurred, the address differs, the name format is inconsistent or part of the document is hidden.

Email or withdrawal verification

Stake’s current crypto withdrawal instructions say the account email must be verified. A withdrawal may then require 2FA, an email code or OAuth verification. – Spam and junk folders

  • Email filters
  • Whether the registered email is still accessible
  • Whether the verification link expired
  • Whether your device time is correct for 2FA
  • Whether an authenticator backup was restored incorrectly
  • Whether a security email was overlooked

Never share a one-time code with a support agent. A legitimate agent may ask whether verification succeeded, but should not need the secret code itself.

Deposit wagering requirement

Stake’s official terms currently state that 100% of a fiat or crypto deposit must be wagered before a withdrawal can be requested. Its help centre gives the example that a $100 deposit must have $100 in total qualifying bets before withdrawal or tipping is permitted. Sports bets count after settlement rather than when the bet is merely placed. e should not be confused with a bonus rollover. There may be separate conditions attached to a promotion.

Check:

  • The withdrawal page’s wagering-progress indicator
  • Whether unsettled sports bets have not yet counted
  • Whether voided bets were excluded
  • Whether a bonus remains active
  • Whether cash balance and bonus balance are being treated separately

Do not continue gambling solely to recover money needed for essentials. Ask official support for a written explanation of the exact unmet condition and the amount still affected.

Deposit and withdrawal method mismatch

Stake’s terms say withdrawals should generally use the same payment method used for the deposit unless the operator decides otherwise or cannot do so. If several methods were used, the withdrawal may be split between them. ch can trigger review when:

  • A deposit came from one bank account but the withdrawal uses another
  • A UPI ID belongs to another person
  • A payment card and bank account have different names
  • A crypto deposit came from an exchange but the withdrawal is directed to an unrelated wallet
  • Account ownership cannot be established
  • A payment provider no longer supports the original route

Explain the reason accurately. Do not create false statements about ownership or submit altered documents.

Security review

A withdrawal may be reviewed after:

  • A password change
  • A new device login
  • A new location or IP address
  • Repeated failed login attempts
  • A 2FA reset
  • Rapid changes to withdrawal details
  • Unusual deposit and withdrawal patterns
  • Use of a high-risk crypto address
  • An account-recovery request

Stake’s AML policy says crypto deposits and withdrawals may be reviewed for fraud or suspicious activity and that proof of wealth can be requested for higher-risk accounts. VPN or unfamiliar network does not prove wrongdoing, but it can create a security inconsistency that requires explanation. Provide a factual account of what happened.

Multiple pending withdrawals

Stake’s terms allow multiple pending withdrawals to be rejected and replaced with one request for the combined amount. al requests are open:

  • Record each withdrawal ID.
  • Do not cancel them blindly.
  • Ask support whether they should be consolidated.
  • Confirm where any rejected amount will be returned.
  • Request written confirmation before submitting a replacement.

Step 4: Troubleshoot an INR or Bank Withdrawal

A Stake bank withdrawal not received in India should be treated as a chain with several possible failure points:

Account instruction → payment provider → sending bank or payment partner → Indian banking network → receiving bank → available account balance

A delay at any point can produce the same visible result: your balance has not increased.

Check the official processing window

Stake’s current bank-transfer help page says bank-transfer processing may take up to three business days, depending on the payment method. It advises contacting customer support when a pending withdrawal has not been processed within that period. general guidance, not a guarantee. It does not mean every India-related method is available, lawful or supported, and it does not override the 2026 Indian prohibition on online money games and related payment facilitation.

Count business days carefully. Weekends, bank holidays and the time of submission may affect the calculation.

Confirm the destination details

Compare the withdrawal confirmation against your bank records:

  • Account-holder name
  • Account number
  • IFSC code
  • Bank name
  • UPI VPA, where relevant
  • Mobile number, where relevant
  • Account status
  • Whether the account can receive credits
  • Whether the account was recently closed, frozen or converted

Do not post these details publicly.

A small typo can produce several outcomes. The payment may fail immediately, enter a return process or, in the worst case, be sent to a valid account belonging to someone else.

Request the UTR or payment reference

A UTR or equivalent payment reference is the most useful evidence for tracing an Indian bank transfer.

Ask official support:

Please provide the complete UTR, bank reference or processor trace number for this withdrawal, together with the date and time the payment was released to the banking network.

Do not assume every reference displayed in a gaming account is a bank UTR. It could be an internal withdrawal ID. Ask support to identify the type of reference.

What the presence of a UTR may indicate

A valid bank reference normally means a payment instruction has advanced far enough to be traced within the relevant payment system. Your receiving bank can use it to investigate whether the transfer:

  • Was credited
  • Was rejected
  • Was returned
  • Is pending
  • Was directed to different details
  • Is held for review
  • Never reached the receiving bank

The receiving bank may request the sender’s bank name, amount, transfer date and transaction type in addition to the UTR.

What no UTR may indicate

When no bank reference exists, the instruction may still be:

  • Inside the operator’s review
  • Inside a payment provider’s internal queue
  • Waiting for provider liquidity
  • Rejected before bank submission
  • Awaiting corrected beneficiary details
  • Waiting for manual compliance approval

Your bank cannot usually trace a transfer that has not entered a bank payment rail. In that situation, continue with official support rather than repeatedly calling the bank.

Check the bank statement, not only notifications

Push notifications and SMS alerts can fail. Download a complete bank statement covering at least:

  • The withdrawal date
  • The following three business days
  • Any later date on which support says the payment was completed

Look for:

  • A credit with an unfamiliar sender name
  • A credit followed by a reversal
  • An amount reduced by an unexpected fee
  • A pending entry
  • A transfer received under a payment provider’s name
  • A suspense or hold notation

Mask unrelated transactions before sharing the statement.

Ask the bank the right question

Do not describe the transfer vaguely. Use the reference and ask:

Can you trace incoming transfer reference [REFERENCE] for [AMOUNT], dated [DATE]? Please confirm whether it reached the bank, was credited, rejected, returned or placed under review.

The bank may not be able to discuss the sender’s activity, but it should be able to examine your receiving account and the supplied reference.

Bank account restrictions

A bank may delay or restrict funds because of:

  • Name mismatch
  • Inactive or dormant account
  • KYC deficiency
  • Account freeze
  • Fraud-monitoring alert
  • Court or law-enforcement instruction
  • Payment-provider risk controls
  • Incorrect beneficiary information
  • Technical outage
  • Payment-rail failure

Do not attempt to avoid a legitimate restriction by routing the same funds through relatives or unrelated accounts. Ask the bank for the restriction in writing where possible and seek qualified legal advice if the account is frozen.

Step 5: Troubleshoot a Cryptocurrency Withdrawal

A crypto withdrawal marked sent or completed should produce a transaction hash once it has been broadcast to a blockchain. Stake’s help centre describes the transaction hash as the unique identifier used to track a blockchain transaction. the TXID

Look in:

  • Withdrawal history
  • Transaction details
  • Confirmation email
  • Account notifications
  • Official support response

Distinguish the TXID from:

  • An internal withdrawal number
  • A wallet address
  • A block number
  • An invoice ID
  • An exchange deposit ID

A genuine TXID can be searched on a public explorer for the selected blockchain.

Match the asset and network

The cryptocurrency name is not enough. USDT, USDC and several other tokens operate on multiple networks.

For example, the destination may require:

  • USDT on TRON
  • USDT on Ethereum
  • USDT on BNB Smart Chain
  • USDT on Polygon
  • USDT on Solana

Stake’s help centre publishes a list of supported networks and specifically warns users to select the corresponding network. The available list can change, so the options displayed in the withdrawal interface at the time of the transaction are more relevant than an old screenshot or third-party article.

  1. Asset selected on Stake
  2. Network selected on Stake
  3. Network supported by the receiving wallet or exchange
  4. Destination address shown on the blockchain
  5. Destination address originally supplied
  6. Memo, tag or destination code where required

Scenario A: No TXID exists

If Stake shows the request as pending but no transaction hash exists, the transaction may not have been broadcast.

Possible causes include:

  • Manual review
  • Security hold
  • KYC request
  • Wagering requirement
  • Withdrawal verification
  • Internal processing delay
  • Crypto-address risk review
  • Temporary wallet maintenance

Ask:

Has this withdrawal been broadcast to the blockchain? If yes, please provide the complete TXID. If not, please identify the unresolved account or processing requirement.

Scenario B: TXID exists but the transaction is unconfirmed

An unconfirmed transaction has been broadcast but has not reached the confirmation threshold required by the receiving service.

Check:

  • Whether the transaction is visible
  • Number of confirmations
  • Whether the block explorer reports an error
  • Whether the destination exchange has a higher confirmation requirement
  • Whether the blockchain is operating normally
  • Whether the asset contract is correct

Stake’s crypto guidance notes that confirmation requirements vary by wallet and that some receiving services require more confirmations than others. ke has broadcast the transaction, the receiving wallet or exchange may need to explain its own crediting threshold.

Scenario C: The transaction is confirmed and the address is correct

When the blockchain shows a confirmed transfer to the correct address, but the wallet or exchange does not display it, the problem is likely at the receiving service.

Check:

  • Deposit-history page
  • Minimum deposit requirement
  • Required confirmation count
  • Asset contract
  • Network maintenance notice
  • Memo or tag requirement
  • Whether the token must be manually added to a self-custody wallet
  • Whether the exchange credited a different account section
  • Whether the deposit is undergoing compliance review

Send the receiving service:

  • TXID
  • Asset
  • Network
  • Amount
  • Destination address
  • Confirmation count
  • Screenshot of its deposit page

Scenario D: The transaction is confirmed to the wrong address

Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. If the address belongs to an unknown person, recovery may be impossible.

Take these steps:

  1. Verify that you are reading the complete address.
  2. Confirm that the explorer is showing the withdrawal output rather than a change address.
  3. Check whether the address belongs to an exchange account you control.
  4. Contact the destination service immediately if you recognise it.
  5. Preserve the TXID and account evidence.
  6. Do not pay a recovery agent who promises guaranteed retrieval.

Stake’s guidance warns that transactions to an incorrect address may not be recoverable. ario E: The correct address was used on the wrong network

Recovery depends on the destination.

A self-custody wallet may sometimes display the asset after the correct network and token contract are added, particularly when the same private key controls compatible addresses. This should be attempted only with official wallet guidance.

An exchange deposit may require a formal recovery procedure. The exchange may decline recovery or charge a fee.

Do not import a seed phrase into a website, browser extension or application recommended by a stranger. Never disclose the seed phrase to support.

Scenario F: Memo or tag is missing

Some assets and exchanges require both an address and a memo, destination tag or payment ID. The blockchain may show a successful transfer while the exchange cannot automatically assign it to your account.

Contact the receiving exchange and provide:

  • TXID
  • Deposit address
  • Missing or incorrect memo
  • Account ID
  • Amount
  • Asset and network

Recovery is not guaranteed.

Scenario G: The amount is smaller than expected

Check:

  • Withdrawal fee
  • Network fee
  • Exchange deposit fee
  • Conversion spread
  • Asset denomination
  • Whether the platform deducted a stated charge
  • Whether the receiving exchange converted the asset

Stake’s terms say withdrawal fees may be charged and that third-party banks or payment methods may impose additional fees. A Practical Withdrawal Diagnostic Flow

Use this sequence in order.

Stage 1: Is the withdrawal visible?

No:
Check whether the request was successfully submitted. Review your balance, email and account activity. Do not resubmit until you understand whether the first attempt exists.

Yes:
Record the withdrawal ID, status, amount and destination.

Stage 2: Is it pending inside the account?

Yes:
Check email verification, 2FA, KYC, wagering requirements, payment ownership, security alerts and account notifications.

No:
Continue to the payment-reference check.

Stage 3: Is there a UTR or TXID?

No:
Request one from official support. Ask whether the transaction has actually been released.

Yes:
Use the reference with the relevant bank, blockchain explorer, wallet or exchange.

Stage 4: Does the external evidence show success?

Bank reference cannot be traced:
Return to support and ask the payment provider to confirm the reference and beneficiary details.

Bank confirms receipt or return:
Request written confirmation and give it to support.

Blockchain transaction is unconfirmed:
Monitor confirmations and check for network issues.

Blockchain transaction is confirmed to the correct address:
Contact the receiving wallet or exchange.

Blockchain transaction is confirmed to the wrong address:
Document the error and contact the destination owner or service, if identifiable.

Stage 5: Has the official window passed?

For bank transfers, Stake’s general help guidance uses up to three business days. Other methods may have different windows. Once the applicable period has passed, submit one complete escalation containing all evidence. Evidence Checklist for Stake Support

Support Message Template

Use a single, factual message:

Subject: Withdrawal not received — request for trace and status

Hello,

I am requesting an investigation into a withdrawal that has not reached its destination.

Account username/email: [DETAILS]
Withdrawal ID: [ID]
Amount and currency: [AMOUNT]
Requested date and time: [DATE, TIME AND TIMEZONE]
Current status: [STATUS]
Destination method: [BANK / UPI / CRYPTO WALLET / EXCHANGE]
UTR or payment reference: [REFERENCE OR “NOT PROVIDED”]
TXID: [TXID OR “NOT PROVIDED”]

I have checked my account notifications, verification status and destination details. The receiving bank/wallet has not credited the transaction.

Please confirm:

  1. Whether the withdrawal has completed all account and compliance checks.
  2. Whether it has been released to the payment provider or blockchain.
  3. The complete UTR, processor reference or TXID.
  4. The beneficiary details and network used.
  5. Whether any further document or action is required from me.
  6. The next escalation step if the transaction cannot be traced.

I have attached the withdrawal record and relevant destination evidence. Please keep this investigation under one ticket and provide the case reference.

Thank you.

How to Escalate Without Creating Duplicate Tickets

Use the official help channel reached through your verified account or the official Stake Help Center.

  1. Submit the complete evidence package.
  2. Save the ticket number.
  3. Allow the support team a reasonable opportunity to investigate.
  4. Reply within the same conversation.
  5. Ask for escalation to the payment or transaction team when the first-line response does not address the evidence.
  6. Request the processor’s written trace result.
  7. Keep every response.

Stake’s public policy pages list support@stake.com as an official contact address, while the Help Center provides withdrawal-specific guidance. ak escalation

My money is missing. Fix it now.

A useful escalation

Withdrawal 4817 for ₹25,000 was requested on 29 July 2026 at 14:42 IST. The account shows completed, but no UTR is displayed. My bank has confirmed it cannot trace the transfer without a reference. Please provide the bank UTR and payment-provider trace result.

The second message gives support something concrete to investigate.

Withdrawal Support Scams to Avoid

People searching for “Stake withdrawal not received” are frequently targeted by impersonators.

Common scam claims include:

  • “Your withdrawal is frozen until you pay tax to this wallet.”
  • “Deposit another 20% to verify the account.”
  • “Send your seed phrase so we can reverse the transaction.”
  • “Install this screen-sharing app.”
  • “I am a Stake manager contacting you on Telegram.”
  • “Pay a gas fee to release a bank transfer.”
  • “Transfer funds to a safe wallet for verification.”
  • “Give me the email code so I can approve the cashout.”

Treat all unsolicited contact as hostile until verified through the official account.

A real support investigation can be conducted using the transaction record, account verification process and payment trace. No legitimate agent needs your private key or seed phrase.

What Happens When a Withdrawal Is Returned?

A bank or payment provider may return a transfer because:

  • Beneficiary details are incorrect
  • The account is closed
  • The account cannot accept the transaction
  • The receiving bank rejects it
  • Compliance review prevents credit
  • The payment corridor fails
  • The transaction exceeds a method limit
  • The destination name does not match

A return is not always instant. The payment may travel back through the same intermediaries before the operator can credit it again.

Ask support:

  • Has the provider confirmed a return?
  • What is the return reference?
  • On what date was it received?
  • Will the amount return to the cash balance?
  • Were fees deducted?
  • Is a corrected destination permitted?
  • Is further verification required?

Do not accept a vague statement that the payment “should return soon” indefinitely. Ask for a traceable reference and a written status.

What Happens When a Crypto Withdrawal Is Rejected?

Possible causes include:

  • Unsupported network
  • Address validation failure
  • Address-risk screening
  • Amount below the minimum
  • Insufficient balance after fee
  • Security verification failure
  • Wagering requirement
  • Manual AML review
  • Wallet maintenance
  • Multiple withdrawals
  • Account restriction

Check whether the full amount returned to your balance. If not, ask support to reconcile:

Original amount – fee – returned amount = unexplained difference

Do not send crypto to a different address suggested by an unofficial agent.

The 2026 Indian Legal Position

Older articles often describe online gambling in India as merely a state-by-state grey area. That description is no longer sufficient for a page updated in 2026.

The central government states that the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits all forms of online money games, including games of chance, skill or a combination of both. It also prohibits advertising, promotion and facilitation, including the processing of related financial transactions. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026 came into force on 1 May 2026. one dealing with an existing withdrawal, this means:

  • Do not assume that being able to access a website makes its use lawful.
  • Do not assume that an available payment option is authorised.
  • Do not make a fresh deposit while trying to recover an earlier withdrawal.
  • Do not use another person’s bank account or wallet to bypass a restriction.
  • Do not rely on an affiliate website for legal advice.
  • Preserve evidence of the existing transaction.
  • Consult a qualified Indian legal professional for advice about your circumstances.

Stake’s own terms also require users to ensure that access is lawful in their jurisdiction and state that the service should not be used from a jurisdiction that prohibits online betting or casino activity. e cannot determine whether a specific past transaction breached a law or how enforcement rules apply to an individual case.

Crypto Tax and Record-Keeping Considerations

Receiving cryptocurrency and later converting or transferring it can create tax and reporting questions separate from the withdrawal delay.

India’s Income Tax Department states that gains from virtual digital assets are taxed at 30%, plus applicable surcharge and cess, under Section 115BBH. It also provides for transaction-level reporting through Schedule VDA. rtment’s 2026 guidance states that Section 194S requires 1% tax deduction at source on consideration paid to a resident for a VDA transfer, subject to the law’s thresholds and rules about who is responsible for the deduction. ssume that:

  • Every receipt of crypto is automatically a taxable gain of the same amount
  • TDS equals final tax liability
  • A gambling-related receipt and a later VDA disposal have identical tax treatment
  • Exchange statements contain every detail needed for your return
  • Losses can always be offset against other income
  • A foreign or offshore transaction is invisible to tax authorities

Keep:

  • Original withdrawal record
  • Crypto amount and INR value at receipt
  • TXID
  • Wallet address
  • Exchange deposit record
  • Sale or conversion record
  • Fees
  • TDS certificate or statement, where applicable
  • Bank credit record
  • Support correspondence

The tax treatment of an unlawful or prohibited activity can still require professional analysis. Speak to a chartered accountant familiar with VDA reporting and online gaming taxation. This page is not tax advice.

Common Stake Withdrawal Problems and the Best First Response

Stake withdrawal pending after KYC submission

Check whether every requested document was accepted rather than merely uploaded. Ask support to identify the specific incomplete verification step. Do not upload unrelated documents repeatedly.

Stake withdrawal completed but not received in bank

Request the complete UTR or payment trace. Give it to the receiving bank and ask whether the transfer was credited, rejected, returned or held.

Stake withdrawal pending for more than three business days

Stake’s general bank-transfer guidance advises contacting support after a pending bank withdrawal exceeds three business days. Submit one evidence-led ticket. e crypto withdrawal pending

Check for email verification, 2FA, wagering progress, manual review and address screening. If no TXID exists, ask whether the transaction has been broadcast.

Stake crypto withdrawal completed but not in wallet

Check the TXID, confirmation count, destination address, network and receiving service’s deposit status.

Stake withdrawal rejected because of wagering requirement

Review the progress indicator and settled-bet calculation. Request the exact outstanding requirement in writing. Do not gamble with essential funds.

Stake withdrawal sent to the wrong crypto network

Contact the receiving wallet or exchange. Recovery depends on whether the destination controls a compatible address and offers a recovery process. Never disclose your seed phrase.

Stake withdrawal returned by bank

Request the return reference and date. Confirm whether the balance will be restored and whether a verified alternative destination is permitted.

Stake support is not replying

Keep the same case number, send a concise follow-up containing the evidence and request escalation. Avoid opening many duplicate cases.

Someone offered to recover the withdrawal for a fee

Do not pay. Contact official support through the verified website. Recovery agents cannot reverse a confirmed blockchain transaction merely by charging an upfront fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my Stake withdrawal not received?
